How INNIT’s English classes read a text

  1. Accurate from the first sentence

Accurate reading from the first sentence, following the logic instead of test tricks.

  2. Steady on reworked questions

Getting ready for school exams that rework and paraphrase the original texts.

  3. Back to why it was wrong

After a mistake, comparing the options with the passage to see why that answer was chosen.

Lesson example

An English lesson, step by step

We don’t start with tricks like “read from here” or “look at that sentence first”. Students read accurately from the first sentence and follow the logic from one sentence to the next to grasp how the text flows.

Question 23 of the March 2026 first-year high school mock exam: passage and options
March 2026 first-year high school mock exam, question 23: mapping the flow of the passage to find its topic.

Following the flow of the passage

  1. A study of conformity
  2. The fascinating thing about the results… — a signal that the results hold something interesting
  3. Conformity varies with age
  4. Thus. Conformity PEAKS around 14 → DECREASES at 16–17
  5. With age, they defend their own opinion better

So the answer is ③ changes in the tendency to follow peers across ages.

No memorised technique like “find the topic sentence first” or “look after However”. We simply read each sentence accurately and followed the logic linking it to the next.
